Rock Dove Columba livia, also known as Feral Pigeon, San Jia Gang, Shanghai, May. Rock Dove is the ancestor of Feral Pigeon. Feral Pigeon has been introduced nearly worldwide and is established in cities and towns across China. Wild populations of Rock Dove exist in northwest China and the Himalayas, Qinghai, and northern and Northeast China (MacKinnon 2022, 151).
