The mainly Indochinese range of Stripe-throated Bulbul Pycnonotus finlaysoni reaches China in southern Yunnan, where race eous is a rare resident of lowland secondary forests. Has diagnostic streaky lemon-yellow throat, chin, cheeks, and forehead. Upperparts brownish-greenish with yellowish tinge to wings and tail. Underparts greyish with some white streaking on breast. Undertail coverts lemon-yellow. Bill black; feet brown. Loud song consists of short, perky sentences, repeated continuously. — Craig Brelsford
