Grey Red-backed Vole Craseomys rufocanus, Yikesama National Forest, Hulunbeier Prefecture, Inner Mongolia, China, July. Grey Red-backed Vole occurs across the Palearctic, from Norway to Japan. Range includes Xinjiang and Northeast China. Inhabits forests. Has distinctive reddish-brown pelage from crown to rump. (Craig Brelsford)
