Northern Tree Shrew Tupaia belangeri, Baihualing (25.296863, 98.797800), Yunnan, China, elev. 1730 m (5,680 ft.), February. Northern Tree Shew is the only member of its order in China. The species occurs in forests from India to Vietnam, in China in the southern provinces. Northern Tree Shrew has brown fur, rounded ears, and an elongated snout.
